The award-winning piece - a creatively designed 18-page portfolio entitled "I Am" for Roark Johnson Photography in Chicago - was chosen from more than 6,000 entries. The design was a poetic assemblage of Johnson's portraits with an empowering "I Am" theme throughout the work. It was one of only 21 Illustration/Photography winners. "This piece is the perfect way to package my work professionally, so that I can give it to potential clients," Johnson said. "It really speaks to the essence of what Roark Johnson Photography is all about." HOW Magazine is a business and creative resource for graphic designers. The annual design competition recognizes outstanding graphic and corporate designs among the nation's top design firms.
